About Mount St. Mary’s Hospital
Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital is a 175-bed community teaching hospital that serves Lewiston and Greater Niagara Falls. Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital is part of Catholic Health, a non-profit healthcare system that provides care across a network of hospitals, primary care centers, imaging centers, and several other community ministries. Within the hospital, there is also a 45-bed inpatient chemical dependency unit. Also, specializing in maternity services and emergency care, Mount St. Mary’s Hospital is recognized for providing superior health care close to home.

Mission Statement and Purpose
The PGY-1 pharmacy residency program at Mount Saint Mary's Hospital builds on Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and outcomes to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists responsible for medication related care of patients with a wide range of conditions, eligible for board certification, and eligible for postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training.
