Catholic Health residency programs ensure that the residents are prepared at the end of the year as well-rounded pharmacists by participating in ambulatory care services, core rotations, individualized elective rotations and research opportunities.

Why I Chose Catholic Health Pharmacy Residency Program: Mercy Hospital of Buffalo is a very well-rounded program that offers a variety of rotations. The biggest pull for me in this program is their ED and administrative rotations. Beyond this, Mercy has proven to be a flexible program that will work with you to explore your interests. With a few programs in the system, they offer the option to travel to other sites in order to gain experiences and electives which align with your interests. They also have great personalities on their staff. Everyone is friendly, understanding, helpful, and passionate about helping you achieve your goals. That type of family and team mentality really drew me to this program/ health system to complete my PGY-1.
