Accreditation Status and Application Requirements

Program is Accredited through UCNS. Fellows successfully completing program requirements will be considered board eligible through the UCNS.

As of the 2023 application cycle we have joined the SF Match. Prospective fellows should purse application to our program through the match site.

Prospective applicants must have completed a residency in internal medicine, emergency medicine, neurology, or be currently enrolled or have completed a residency in neurosurgery. We can only take US citizens or permanent residents. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to accept visa holders (i.e., J1 or H1b). Interested applicants should sign up for SF match and complete the requirements though the central application service (CAS) reported below.

Application to Neurocritical Care Fellowship programs must include:

  • CAS Application
  • Complete Personal Info form
  • Submit Required Supplemental form
  • Personal Statement
  • CV
  • USMLE/COMLEX or equivalent transcripts
  • Three (3) letters of reference.
