Care Philosophy
Dr. McGowan is passionate about making an impact on a patient’s health and well-being, building relationships over the course of a patient’s lifetime, and delivering preventive care. She believes that effective communication plays a vital role in the quality and care experience, and in overall health outcomes. She helps her patients understand their treatment plans through collaborative education. In each interaction, Dr. McGowan listens to, and reflects on, what patients tell her. “If I can help my patients feel heard and understood, then I am one step closer to cultivating a true partnership in their care.”
