Background

Dr. Chad Strittmatter graduated from the University of Illinois and received his medical degree from the Louisiana State Health Sciences Center. He went on to complete his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine. A board certified physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Strittmatter works as the Associate Residency program director and the Director of OB/GYN Ambulatory Care at Sisters of Charity Hospital.

Dr. Strittmatter has been a clinical assistant professor, teaching at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition to his teaching appointments, Dr. Strittmatter has published in academic journals and has lectured on clinical topics.

In addition, Dr. Strittmatter has been certified and trained to provide Suboxone care for pregnant patients. Dr. Strittmatter cares for opiate dependent women who are pregnant with a comprehensive plan for treatment during pregnancy and through birth. Catholic Health has a strong support staff for this affliction, and Dr. Strittmatter and his team will be compassionately available to care for these pregnant women.
